We didn't manage to go anywhere on our last day here as we had an early morning flight to catch. Our flight back to KLIA 2 departed at 9.50am on 29 July 2014. Initially we thought of going to Yung Hwa Restaurant which we have missed earlier for our breakfast. Then we decided to go direct to the airport and have our breakfast there as we were worried it would be too rush for us especially with young kids around. So we had our breakfast at KFC in Terminal 2 of Kota Kinabalu Airport.
Our flight back to KLIA 2 was smooth and we arrived 5 minutes earlier than the estimated arrival time. Once reached, we went direct to look for transportation back to Klang as we parked our car there and Yvonne was the one who sent us to the airport the other day. When we went to the counter to book for taxi, we had very bad experience dealing with the counter staffs. These people are really blood sucker!! It costs RM239 to travel to Klang. I remember we travelled to Klang from KLIA for our previous trip for only roughly RM79 to RM80. Why is there such a huge difference? They told us we have to travel in a premium taxi instead of a 5-seater car as there are 5 of us including an infant. I asked whether would they provide car seat for the baby and they say no. If so, how do you expect her to sit? So means I still have to carry her. Then why do I need all those extra seats if we would only occupy 4 seats. Moreover we only had minimal hand luggages. If we can stuffed all our luggages into a Perodua Viva, there is no reason why we couldn't stuff it into a normal sedan taxi. She went and check around then came back to us informing that we still have to take the premium taxi.
We were not willing to pay for that kind of ridiculous amount for a short ride back to Klang. So I told dear hubby to buy bus tickets instead. There are direct shuttle to Klang from KLIA and KLIA 2 everyday. It costs only RM10/pax for adult and RM5 for a child. We ended up only paying RM30 for our trip back to Klang. It was free for baby. Luckily we didn't pay for RM239. The difference was so huge. We didn't regret it as the shuttle was so convenient and comfortable. It was fast too as it was an express direct shuttle. There were not many passengers in the bus. Other than us, there were maybe around 6 to 7 more passengers.
Their designated stop is at Premiere Hotel. This Aerobus Express, affiliated to Air Asia has a counter in this particular hotel. They have few trips to/from the airport a day. When we were reaching, I made a call to dad and asked him to come and fetch us.
We had already had our lunch at the airport earlier before we boarded the bus. There were not many options for us to choose from. At that particular level where we were, there were only one dining place. There were also many flies and the smell was bad. It is a newly built airport. How can it smells so bad. We were having difficulties to eat as the flies were swarming around the food and the surrounding. We have to quickly finished up our food and went out to wait for the bus as we couldn't stand the smell and flies.
As for dinner, we had it at Restoran Sekinchan in Pandamaran. Hong didn't join us. There wwre only 8 of us. The food was quite nice. We ordered fried shrimps with yam, a tofu dish, Japanese pork ribs, steamed fish and a vegetable. I have forgotten to take any picture of the vegetable. We also ordered Hokkien fried noodles as dear hubby was craving for it.
